Five prompts that respect your design system

Stop fighting the agent on spacing and color. These prompts keep tokens intact.

The single highest-leverage instruction is to name your tokens. 'Use the existing semantic tokens, never raw hex values' turns a generic AI look into something that matches the rest of the product.

Next, describe hierarchy instead of pixels. 'Make the primary action visually dominant' survives a redesign; 'make the button 48px tall' does not.

Finally, ask for one variant at a time. Batched design requests average themselves into blandness — sequential prompts keep each decision reviewable.
