What is a credit?
Credits are the unit for everything you use in Master. Your workspace has one balance shared by all members and projects.
Where credits come from

What uses credits
Building and chat
Each message is charged by the AI work it actually needs, measured in tokens. A small text change costs little; building a whole new feature costs more. The cost of each step is shown under the message.

Free
Visual edits, browsing code, restoring versions and publishing use no credits.
View your balance
Open Settings → Plans & credits. The credits card shows total remaining (monthly + topped up), a usage bar, when monthly credits expire, daily build credits and the free daily chat allowance. Usage shows the last 30 days per project.
When you run low
Below 2 credits, the composer shows your balance and you can still send. At zero, sending is blocked until credits refresh or you add more; the notice offers Upgrade now.
